The tragic last words of an influencer who fell 630 feet to his death have been revealed.

The British daredevil tragically died while attempting to scale one of Spain’s highest bridges last Sunday (13 October).

26-year-old Lewis Stevenson fell from the Castilla-La Mancha Bridge in hopes of completing the risky stunt.

However, he ended up falling to his death in front of his 'traumatized' 24-year-old friend.

Talavera de la Reina Town Council said in a statement: "The Councillor for Citizen Security, Macarena Munoz, has confirmed the death of a young man after he fell from the Castilla-La Mancha bridge.

"He was a 26-year-old Englishman who fell while climbing the aforementioned bridge, something which the councillor has made clear is totally prohibited and that we have reiterated on numerous occasions cannot be done under any circumstances.

"According to what we have been able to establish they had come to Talavera to climb the bridge and create content for social media, which has resulted in this unfortunate and sad outcome."

Lewis' grandfather Clifford Stevenson has been speaking to the MailOnline following his loss.

The 70-year-old reiterated the family's desire to 'talk him out of it' [the stunt].

He said: "We all tried to talk him out of it. We were always trying to talk him out of doing things but that was the way he was.

"He loved doing it, always went out there believing he'd be alright. He did what he did for his own pleasure. He did not get any money for it, he was an adventurer."

Lewis' partner Savannah Parker also spoke to the MailOnline about her heartbreak, telling the outlet the influencer's tragic last words.

She said: "We spoke at half eleven and the last thing he said to me was, 'Good night, I love you'.

"He messaged me at half five to say, 'Good morning' with three kisses. I didn't see it until quarter to eight.

"I thought he'd just be trying to get a sunrise picture. I thought he must have stuck his arm out to get a picture and fell, not that he passed out."

Following the tragedy, a spokesman for the government-run local emergency services said: "We received the first call at 7.14am today, saying a young man had fallen while he was climbing the Castilla-La Mancha Bridge.

"The victim, who was aged 26, was pronounced dead at the scene."
