Brie Bird's mother has detailed her nine-year-old daughter's heartbreaking final moments before she died from stage-four cancer.
Influencer Bird, who built up a following of over 650,000 across social media, was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma back in 2020.
Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that affects children under the age of five and is a disease that starts in a type of nerve cell called a neuroblast, according to Cancer Research UK.
Following her diagnosis five years ago, Brie went on to document her journey with the disease, including a family update in 2022 that the child was cancer-free.

However, the family said in January 2024 that the cancer had returned. Brie died aged nine on December 11 as her family penned in an Instagram tribute: "You are the miracle! Your purpose on earth was fulfilled, and it was the most sacred privilege to escort you home.
"You brought people to Christ, you showed the world that God is good, and your light shined to all corners of the earth. We love you for eternity!"

Brie's devastated loved ones said they would 'never stop' sharing her story, as they added: "Please come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open, and we’ll leave the playroom light on."
The statement continued: "You did it Brielle, you did everything with grace! I can only imagine the incredible reunion, and I’m so jealous; but I know you ran straight to Jesus.
"Thank you for being an inspiration to so many."
Kendra, Brie's mother, has since taken to social media to detail those heartbreaking yet precious final moments with her daughter.

"One week ago from this very moment, we were having regular conversations," she wrote. "We talked about what finishing touches you were going to make on your Christmas list, why Annie was an orphan (since we watched it the night before), and sleeping in your room on Christmas Eve. An hour later, you had fallen asleep, and we never heard your voice again."
Kendra went on to say that she and Brie's father sat by her side as her 'body transitioned' while they told her she is 'loved' and is 'amazing'.
"Brielle, our home will never feel the same. We will continue to dance in your honor, we will always serve those around us, and we will tell the world about the goodness of God," Kendra added before concluding the emotional Instagram post with: "Though I don’t agree with or understand His plan right now, we do know that you are no longer in a broken body, and finally able to run; run straight to Jesus."
