While we await the anticipated Pornhub annual data release in the coming weeks, we've another insight to keep us going in the form of a new report detailing six sex trends that are growing in popularity.
The beginning of December obviously means the festive season is right around the corner, but the 12th month of the year also means 'year in review' reports are published across all kinds of industries.
As Spotify Wrapped was dropped for millions across the globe on Wednesday (December 3), a more saucy report was also released this week.
The annual dump comes from the female-led porn company Ersties, which has detailed the six trends taking over the porn viewing in 2025.

The site discovered more and more people watching porn online are searching for niche topics, after the company came to the conclusion it has been seeing a 'noticeable rise in searches for more niche, playful, and highly specific interests'.
So, what are the trends taking over the porn industry in 2025?
First of all, Ersties, which promotes itself as an 'ethical' porn site, say it has seen an increase in users searching for content regarding feet.

They've also seen trends become apparent in pegging and 'pee-play' - certainly not your bog-standard play in the bedroom, as well as armpit licking and sweaty armpits. Ersties also discovered a notable search increase in tights and stockings content.
"As more people feel comfortable looking up exactly what they like, Ersties continues to be a space where those curiosities can be explored without judgement and with plenty of transparency," the company said.
Experts have issued a warning about 'pee-play' in particular, and having sex with a full bladder.

Known as omorashi, a Japanese term that means 'to wet oneself', sees people getting dirty in the bedroom with a full-to-bursting bladder.
Sex educator Gigi Engle told the Metro: "It’s a form of bladder control where one person is keeping their bladder full, usually at the demand of a dominant partner.
"For some people, having a full bladder means they may experience more squirting or more intense orgasms because of the way the bladder being engorged can push against the vaginal and clitoral complex."
Ersties' 2025 Ethical Porn Trends Report looked into a ton of other user behavior, including the most common days people like to self-pleasure.

Sundays and Mondays are the busy traffic days, while the most popular global viewing time is between 9 pm and midnight.
