A woman who is deaf and blind has revealed the one 'annoying' question she often gets that really 'bothers her'.

Taking to Reddit in an 'Ask Me Anything' thread, the woman invited other users to ask questions about her condition.

She wrote: "Good morning I’m Hope I’m a 22 year old DeafBlind woman I was born blind and went deaf very young so I have no memory of seeing or hearing I love nature and I’m a big activist for disability rights in my local area [sic]."

Hope received heaps of different questions, including from one person who asked how she was able to read the comments in the post.

She explained: "I use a device called a braille note which works like a computer in braille."

Meanwhile, another asked: "Do you have to be super organized to keep track of your belongings and your living space? Like does everything have a place and are things always in the right place, not a single thing out of order?"

To which Hope responded: "Yeah haha I’m a clean freak."

Hope also revealed that there's one question she finds particularly annoying.

One person asked: "Is there one question that really bothers you when people ask it?"

To which she explained: “'How do you know when you’re done wiping' is so annoying."

While other people admitted they were curious about the answer to the question, another person shared: "I don’t know it’s the case for OP but I saw this question asked of a blind person in another AMA and they said they check by touch and then wash their hands."

In a separate AMA thread, another person opened up about being blind, revealing how they experience dreams.

Recalling the moment they lost all vision, the user wrote: "Um, it was in the middle of the day and all of my site [sic] went down by 90% and the rest was blurry by 100%, and that 10% site [sic] was used to make lights as bright as the sun apparently so that wasn’t fun.

"Anyway I think I was blind the day after even though I thought I saw, I think my mind was playing tricks on me."

Hoping for more insight into what the blind person 'sees', one user asked: "When you sleep, how are your dreams like? Do you 'see' anything? I'm very curious, as my dreams are very visual."

The poster then responded to explain that, yes, they 'sometimes' see things in their dreams, but added: "It's not as high quality as it once was."

They continued: "I guess the brain only has some piles of memories to go off [therefore] it gets worse."
