A video of a DoorDash driver confronting a customer whose complaint lost him his job has gone viral on TikTok.

Clashes between delivery drivers and customers frequently go viral online and sadly, are becoming all too common.

Just last month, a clip of a driver returning a customer's $400 grocery order after they failed to tip her racked up more than 2.5 million views on TikTok.

One infamous confrontation involves a DoorDash worker approaching a customer who allegedly got him fired after they'd given him a poor rating.

The clip, which was originally posted on TikTok but has since been removed, starts with the delivery driver walking into a building and telling the alleged customer: “I delivered food here yesterday from Chipotle, and you put down that I didn’t deliver it to you.”

It seems that the delivery had been made to a workplace and the driver recognized the woman who he believed had complained about him.

Things get heated and the delivery driver's voice starts to tremble as he says: “This is my only source of income, I do this every day. Now I’m fired from my job because you want your ten-dollar burrito?"

The driver confronted the customer who had allegedly claimed her food wasn't delivered, resulting in him losing his job.

He continues: “Are you out of your mind? Who does this? Who raised you?”

The man then says: “I need to get your a** fired,” before the woman finally responds, after previously dismissing him, saying that she will contact DoorDash.

Redditors were quick to comment on the viral video when it was reposted on the site's 'Public Freakout' thread

One person wrote: "I can hear the pain in his voice."

Another added: "She's guilty as f**k too, can't even look at him."

Other users were quick to criticize DoorDash, with one writing: “The real problem here is the power dynamic between the worker and the platform.”

“DoorDash has left the power of feedback and consequences directly with the customers. So now when real workers make deliveries they are at the mercy of the people who ordered.”

Luckily, the story seems to have a happy ending, with the DoorDash employee posting an update to YouTube shortly after.

He said: "I talked to DoorDash and they helped me out and got it removed. Shoutout to DD support they always help me out tremendously.

"I’m almost 5 years clean from heroin all I’m trying to do is hustle and make up for lost time because I really screwed my life up. And she’s putting my job in jeopardy over something so stupid.

"This is how I pay my bills. I love this job. I don’t want to lose it because she doesn’t want to pay for her lunch."
