Those unhappy with the outcome of the 2024 election now have a chance to skip Trump’s presidency.

The run-up to the 2024 US election proved particularly tense in America.

Ultimately, Donald Trump was able to come out on top and is set to become the next president over Kamala Harris.

As some were predicting Harris would comfortably beat Trump, they were left pretty stunned and surprise when she lost.

Some celebrities have even stated they would take steps to leave the country if Trump becomes president for a second term.

However, a Florida cruise company has found a way to appeal to those unhappy with the result.

The Villa Vie Residences offers multiple lengthy stays for its guests, and the CEO has spoken out the possibility of seeing an influx of Democrat supporters joining on the cruises.

Founder and CEO Mikael Petterson spoke about the cruise being a perfect escape for people right now.

Speaking to the Associated Press he said: “If you are looking for an escape, either for two years, three years, four years, or one, there is no better place than on a ship.

“You can wake up everyday to a new backyard and get everything you need taken care of.

“Whether that is food, laundry or getting around the world.

“It is a very reasonable and achievable to live a lifestyle like this.”

He continued: “You have the one year escape from reality, the two year midterm selection, you have the three year anywhere but home and you have the four-year skip forward.”

Petterson explained that the company had this in the works for time for whoever won and it the four-year trip isn’t meant as a political statement.

He said: “Regardless of who had won, we had this in the works so it is not a political campaign at all.

“It is just the timing was with the election, and it just happened that Trump won and there are more Democrats that are living in the US now than Republicans.

“We go to about 150 different countries in the circumnavigation, about 425 destinations. So in a four-year period, it might be a little bit more than that.”

The prices for the four-year skip-forward option reportedly start at around $40,000 per person per year for the four-year option. Would you consider such a lengthy stay to avoid Trump's America?
