Woman who was kidnapped to be sold on the dark web reveals harrowing text she received from mom day before capture

Chloe Ayling was kidnapped and almost auctioned on the dark web to be sold into the sex industry

Chloe Ayling has recalled what her mom said to her shortly before she was kidnapped.

Eight years ago, Chloe traveled to the Italian city of Milan for what she believed to be a photoshoot.

The photographer, who went by Andre Lazio, had hired her a few months prior for a shoot in Paris, France, but the booking was cancelled in light of the heartbreaking 2017 attack when a known terror suspect opened fire on the Champs-Élysées boulevard, killing three police officers.

After the Paris photoshoot failed to take place, Andre then approached Phil Green, Chloe's agent at the time, to rebook her for the same shoot but in Milan instead this time.

"I was happy," the British model recalled in her brand new BBC docu-series Chloe Ayling: My Unbelievable Kidnapping.

"I was thinking 'Okay, I get to do this again, [the first trip] wasn't wasted and I get to go to Milan'," she continued.

Chloe's mom, however, was less enthusiastic about her going to Italy and 'really didn't want [Chloe] to go to Milan' because she wasn't her manager Phil's 'biggest fan'.

Her mom sent Chloe a text that read: "I have a bad feeling about this Milan job. Please don't go."

Little did her mom know that this was one of the last messages she'd sent to Chloe before she was abducted.

The day after she landed in Milan, Chloe went to the shoot location she'd been given by 'Andre' — who has since been revealed to be a man named Łukasz Herba.

Upon her arrival, she was drugged, shoved into a bag and taken to a different location. She was then held captive for several days and was told by Łukasz that he'd been hired by a criminal organization known as The Black Death to kidnap her and put her up for auction on the dark web.

Police were frantically rushing to find her before auction day, with one of the investigators recalling in the documentary the moment he'd received an email alleging that she had been sold.

Despite the terrifying circumstances, Chloe said she remained calm through the whole thing; something she believes worked in her favor as panicking would have only made things 'worse' as her captor had seemingly developed feelings for her.

"In that moment, I knew I needed to rely on myself, and that was when I got the first ever inkling that [Łukasz] liked me in any way," Chloe recalled in her new docu-series, which is now streaming on BBC iPlayer.

"I thought may he liked me as a person because I was not throwing a fit, but this was the first time I thought 'wow, things have changed'," she added.

Chloe went on to use this to her advantage and ultimately talked Łukasz into releasing her under the premise that something could then happen between them.

While Chloe was released, nothing happened between her and Łukasz, and she quickly informed the police about what had happened to her.

Ultimately, Łukasz was convicted of kidnapping the young model and has been behind bars since his sentencing in 2018.
