There are a whole range of conspiracies out there, some of which have more evidence to back them than others, but one theory about ancient civilisation has one person '1000%' convinced.

TikTok user @nightgod333 has racked up millions of followers by sharing stories of legends, myths and mysteries, but he shared his own beliefs about the Earth's history after another TikToker asked to hear some of the theories users swore by.

The TikToker is convinced ancient civilisations on Earth were 'far more advanced than we're being told and that one of them possibly even survived before our oceans even existed', with his belief based on both personal research and apparent archaeological discoveries.

Check it out below:

The TikToker first began to look into the possibility of advanced ancient civilisations after learning that an underwater pyramid was discovered near the Azores islands in 2013, with a base of roughly 8,000 square metres. Upon looking at the pyramid on Google Earth, he realised there appeared to be other pyramids located near the first.

Naturally he didn't feel he could give up his research there, so he stayed up 'all night' scanning the 'entire ocean floor' and found 'large clusters of what could be potential pyramids... all over the world'.

During his investigation, the TikToker spotted what he believes to be a statue similar to those found on Easter Island, despite the fact he was looking north of Hawaii, more than 4,000 miles away. In a bid to find out more, he then began to look around Easter Island and found more structures, as well as 'idols', leading the TikToker to believe the same civilisation was responsible for both those and the pyramids.

Sticking with his trusty Google Earth, he then uncovered what he believed to be a path the civilisation would have taken from Easter Island to north of Hawaii, as well as a 'trade route' from Easter Island to South America, claiming 'you can literally see the beaten path going to the land'.

The end of this 'path' also happened to be the location where elongated skulls were discovered in a desert peninsula in 1928, leading the theorist to express belief the 'elongated skull people of Paracas, Peru were probably behind the pyramids, and the large idols'.

The theory seemed plausible for many viewers, with one user joking that the theorist might get 'taken' because he 'knows too much'.

Another commented: 'I’m invested now'.

The video has racked up thousands of views, but as for whether it's uncovered any truth, we may be waiting a while.
