Britney Spears has vowed to never perform in the US again.

Spears' last major live performance was on her 'Pieces of Me' tour that concluded in Austin, Texas, in October 2018.

She stepped back form music shortly after to focus on her conservatorship (a form of court-appointed guardianship) case that she successfully brought to an end in 2021 after her father, Jamie Spears, had controlled her career, personal life, and finances since 2008.

Spears' relationship with her sons, 20-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden, 19, is believed to have been strained during her conservatorship. The 'Everytime' singer also had battles with mental health but she appears to have been working to repair the relationship with them in recent years — in particular her youngest son Jayden who she's shared photos of online.

The two boys were largely brought up in Hawaii where they live with their father Kevin Federline, who made some shocking claims about his ex wife in his memoir that hit shelves last year.

In a new post shared to Instagram, Spears shared her plans of gifting her white piano to her son and branded him as a 'huge star'.

Sharing a throwback photo of her sat by the musical instrument, the mom-of-two said: "Sending this piano to my son this year!!! Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life."

Sharing an update on when and where she might perform next, Spears continued to write: "I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon. He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!"

While Spears didn't name the child she's gifting the piano to, Mail Online reported that it's her 19-year-old son, Jayden.

Spears is said to have recently spent Christmas with him. A source told PEOPLE last month: "Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden — it's been such a special holiday."

Another source told Us Weekly: "She had an amazing time with Jayden on Christmas. They laughed a lot and bonded more than they have in a while.”

Sean Preston is believed to have spent the holiday with his aunt, Jamie Lynn Spears.
