Trailer For Pete Davidson's New Slasher Film Branded 'Most Gen Z' Thing Ever

Pete Davidson is starring in A24's latest film, which sees a group of rich 20-somethings visit a remote mansion before things turn chaotic

Pete Davidson will be gracing the silver screen this summer in A24’s newest film, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and the trailer has been described as the 'most Gen Z' thing ever.

From the production company that has created the likes of Moonlight, Midsommar and Hereditary, to name a few, Bodies, Bodies, Bodies is bound to set pulses racing with its witty combination of comedy and horror

Watch the trailer below:

Hailing from director Halina Reijn, the film follows a group of fake friends who arrive at a remote family mansion for a hurricane party.

However, things go horribly wrong when the group of rich 20-somethings play a party game that turns deadly – quite literally.

Described as a ‘hilarious, razor-sharp murder mystery’, the film made its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival this year.

The cast has already been a hit among the Gen Z audience, as Pete Davidson is joined alongside Lee Pace, Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders and Rachel Sennott.

Over on Twitter, A24 also shared that the film will feature an original song by British pop star Charli XCX.

Twitter users couldn’t contain their excitement after the new trailer dropped, with one writing: “Pete Davidson?? I will be watching.”

Another person said: “I’m absolutely loving how people are complaining about their slangs and stuff when it clearly says SATIRE movie and they're obviously making fun of twitter lingo.”

“A24 really dominating the horror genre,” wrote a third person while a fourth aptly put: “Looks killer.”

But many couldn't help but notice how painfully 'Gen Z' the flick looks, with one writing: “Looks like a gen Z nightmare and I f****g love it."

Davidson has been the talk of the world lately since Kim Kardashian lifted the lid on their relationship, dishing the details on how the pair met.

On the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kardashian joined host Amanda Hirsch to discuss the beginning of their relationship. The 41-year old began: “Well, I knew him [before SNL] and I saw him at the Met.

“He knew I was hosting SNL, but it wasn’t announced yet, and so he came up to me and we were talking about SNL,” she added.

“He was like, ‘Take my number if you need anything'. And I had gloves on and I couldn't get in my phone with the gloves, and I was like, ‘Oh I have gloves! And I can’t —.’ And he was like, ‘All right cool,’ and walked away.”

Speaking about their infamous SNL kiss, the Kardashians star admitted: “It was a stage kiss, but it was still like a little…zing, you know? It wasn’t anything like a super-crazy feeling, I was just like, ‘hmm',”
