Ted Cruz Can't Believe Pete Davidson Is Getting 'All These Hot Women'

Ted Cruz doesn't understand Pete Davidson's success with so many women.

Ted Cruz doesn't understand Pete Davidson's success with so many women.

Look, a lot has been said about Davidson's dating life but, just in case you needed another hot take from someone who doesn't know the SNL star, here comes Cruz.

Cruz, who, like a lot of people these days, has his own podcast, decided it was the perfect platform to roast the King of Staten Island star.

It all started on the recent episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, a bold show name for a man who's recently been involved in a campaign finance lawsuit.

Cruz began by addressing a question from a fan: "The Women’s March was this weekend. We are seeing women like Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett Smith, Meghan Markle, Kim Kardashian – is it time we start talking about toxic femininity?"

And for some reason, the senator used this as the perfect opportunity to say: "Pete Davidson, all right, how come that dude gets all of these, like, hot women?"

To which his co-host Michael Knowles said: "Because of toxic femininity senator, it's the evidence that something's gone wrong".

Yep, sure that's it.

Not knowing when to quit, Cruz went on to say: "Pete Davidson was dating Kate Beckinsdale [sic] I mean you're talking Underworld. You're talking super hot vampire in a black leather trench coat and you're like, really? The SNL dude – wow."

As you can imagine, the comments didn't go down well, with hosts from The View calling his comments 'creepy and so disgusting'.

Ana Navarro said: "Okay so he might wanna say, 'how come that dude on SNL', but how come that dude [Cruz] is a US senator? And is doing a podcast and spends so much time trolling on Twitter? I mean does he wanna, does he think he's gonna lead by being a social media influencer?"

The host went on to say that the comments were 'disrespectful' to his wife and daughters.

Meanwhile, that part of Davidson's charm could be down to the fact he has generally kept away from such comments, maintaining a low, respectful profile on his relationships.

From briefly dating Beckinsale back in 2019, after they met at a Golden Globes after-party, to being linked to Kaia Gerber, and Phoebe Dynevor.

Davidson also continues to shy away from public comments on his long-term relationships too, from his engagement to Ariana Grande and current relationship with Kim Kardashian, though the latter is arguably his most public, in part due to Kardashian's former partner Kanye West.
