Victoria Justice opens up on filming ‘uncomfortable’ first sex scene with ‘random’ men in the room

Victoria Justice opens up on filming ‘uncomfortable’ first sex scene with ‘random’ men in the room

The Nickelodeon break-out star had 'a lot of faith and trust' in the film's director but that didn't mean she wasn't 'totally anxious'

Victoria Justice has revealed what it was like filming her first sex scene.

Ahead of the release of upcoming thriller Depravity - previously known as Sic - the Nickelodeon breakout star and singer has opened up about what it was like filming a sex scene within the movie.

While it wasn't a real-life sex scene like the one Margo Stilley filmed in a controversial noughties film, that doesn't mean the experience was any less daunting for Justice, who has revealed it was her 'first ever' sex scene in her career.

Despite Justice noting the filming 'went well' and the sex scene was 'tasteful,' that doesn't mean it was a breeze for the actor to tackle, especially given it was her first one.

In a radio interview with SiriusXM, Justice explained she had to film her 'first ever' sex scene on her 'first day on set'.

She said: "I’m like, ‘Really, guys? We’re gonna schedule this for the first day? Cool. Thanks for that'.

"It is uncomfortable. I was actually very nervous about it and totally anxious about the entire situation, and I was like, 'Did I make the wrong choice? I don’t know if I should do this.'"

However, Justice powered on and reveals that the idea people have about filming sex scenes probably doesn't align with how it actually goes down.

The actor noted it's 'really not' sexy filming sex scenes, it's 'uncomfortable'.

"And there’s a bunch of random dudes in the room breathing and watching you," she added, noting there's 'not really' anything fun about filming such scenes.

Justice explained she was 'friends as much as [she] could be' with the actor she was working with within the scene, however, because it was the first day of filming, they 'barely knew each other'.

However, she reassured: "He was a super nice guy and made me feel safe and was very polite and respectful so it went well."

And Justice also stressed director of the film - Paul Tamasy - made her feel 'very comfortable' too, promising to show her the scene and if she didn't like it they could 'change it'.

The actor resolved: "[I] had a lot of faith and trust in our director."

A release date has yet to be confirmed for Depravity, however, Paramount Global Content Distribution acquired the world rights to the movie last year.

UNILAD has contacted the film's production companies for comment.
