Adoptive mom of girl accused of being 22-year-old speaks out after revealing claims of concerning behavior

Natalia Grace's adoptive mom Cynthia shared an update about the family's relationship

The adoptive mom of Natalia Grace has spoken out after a documentary about the Ukrainian orphan hinted at some concerning behavior.

Many fans of the documentary The Curious Case of Natalia Grace were satisfied to see Natalia settling in with her new adoptive parents, Antwon and Cynthia Mans, after she was hit with a series of allegations from Michael and Kristine Barnett.

In a follow-up to the original documentary, Natalia received support from Antwon and Cynthia as she accused her former adoptive parents of 'ruining' her life after they legally changed her age to make her an adult.

However, things took a shocking twist at the end of the series when a phone call between Antwon, Cynthia and the producers indicated their relationship with Natalia had turned sour.

"Something ain't right with Natalia. This girl is tweakin," Antwon said in the call, while Cynthia could be heard saying: "Natalia is stabbing her family in the back over a complete lie."

The conversation came to an end with Antwon saying the family was 'done' with Natalia, and Natalia has since appeared to start a GoFundMe page stating she was 'saving money to get [her] own house'.

In response to the bombshell turn of events, Cynthia has now spoken out to address the situation in an interview with The Sun.

Though the GoFundMe revealed Natalia had moved out of the Mans' home, Cynthia insisted there was nothing wrong with their relationship.

"We are absolutely perfect," Cynthia said, adding: "No, she doesn't live with us but we are fine."

The mom said Natalia is now 'living with friends', but while she assured they are still in regular contact she did hint at a situation which led to the phone call heard at the end of the documentary.

Unfortunately however, Cynthia wasn't able to go into detail amid filming for a future instalment.

Cynthia went on to admit that life had been difficult since the documentary aired earlier this month, saying: "It's rough but with God, we gonna make it. I am in prayer."

Meanwhile, Natalia assured her supporters that she is doing okay in a post on Instagram in which she thanked people for 'all your support and prayers'.

"I wish I could tell you more about the show but I signed an agreement with the show to keep things confidential for now," Natalia added.

"I will let you guys know when I can for sure, but just know I am OK. Love y'all."
