The cast of Modern Family has reunited for the first time since the show finished.

The legendary TV show wrapped up in 2020 after 11 seasons and more than 250 episodes.

It was a bittersweet moment for fans around the world as they had to say goodbye to the Dunphy and Pritchett families.

The actors have met up since then here and there but nearly the whole main cast have met for the first time in three years.

Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons were all there under one roof.

Sofia wrote on Instagram: "So lucky to have worked with this people for 11 years. I love and miss u all guys!!!"

The only one missing was Ty Burrell, who played everyone's favorite dad Phil Dunphy.

However, the cast wanted to make him feel like he was still part of the party and they held a photo frame of him wearing headphones.

Some people thought Ty had died by the way they were honoring him.

"Holding the pic of Phil like he’s deceased," said one viewer.

Another added: "Bruh i thought Phill died, I almost had a mini heart attack."

A third wrote: "Had to google and check that Phil was still alive."

A fourth commented: "Typical Phil, making us think the worse. He should have been the robot ipad thing if he couldn't make it."

Thankfully, Ty is very much alive, however there's no word on why he missed such an epic reunion.

They chucked his portrait up on the mantlepiece above the fire and all yelled that they missed him.
