Actor and photographer Brad Everett Young has died at the age of 46, his publicist confirmed.
On Sunday (September 14), Young was killed in a head-on collision with a wrong-way driver on a Los Angeles freeway.
Paul Christensen, his publicist, said Young had been driving alone on the 134 Freeway late Sunday night after attending a movie screening.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction struck his car.

Young was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was transported to a hospital.
Christensen told NBC News in a statement: "Brad was a fixture at Hollywood events, red carpets, premieres, galas, industry parties, and charity functions. He had an eye that could capture both the glitz of celebrity and the quiet humanity behind the flash.

"To see him working – greeting subjects, arranging light, or simply moving through the crowd with camera in hand – was to witness someone who belonged there, not merely as a documentarian, but as part of the tapestry of those nights."

Young photographed stars including Buffy icon Sarah Michelle Gellar and Stranger Things' David Harbour as well as Seth Green, Emma Caulfield Ford and Gilles Marini.
Publications including Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and PEOPLE published his work.
Young had also built up a large online following.
Before becoming a photographer, he began acting in 1999 and made an appearance in Grey's Anatomy as an appendectomy patient in season five.

Other credits included Boy Meets World, Charmed and 90210 and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Young also founded a nonprofit, Dream Loud Official, which was focused on preserving art and music education in schools.
“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,” Christensen said in the statement. “He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.”
General Hospital star Chris McKenna led tributes to Young on social media.

While Young himself never featured in the medical drama, he did photograph their cast - with some even collaborating on Dream Loud Official with him.

Posting to X, formerly Twitter, McKenna said: "I’m in complete shock. We just did a shoot a couple weeks ago and we texted this weekend."
He continued: "Brad was such a talented, funny, warm, caring guy. He donated his time, his talent, he raised money for underserved schools and the world is darker today without his light. Rest easy, bud."

Fellow General Hospital star Jen Lilley took to Instagram where she said she woke up 'in shock and disbelief' at the news.
She said he was 'so much more than everyone’s fave celebrity photographer,' adding in part: "We'd hang for hours and talk about life and the ups and downs of our crazy industry.
"We’d eat pie and cake and talk about our Virginia roots. You loved your mom and brother more than life. I just have no words for all I’m feeling. And I know it’s going to be a while before I realize you’re gone."
