There's a TV show that people love so much that they're watching on repeat.

We all have a comfort TV show that we've watched several times. For me, it's Schitt's Creek — a show that's been hailed as 'the best thing you will ever watch' by some fans (and I concur).

The well-loved show was created by American Pie alumni Eugene Levy and his son Dan Levy, and boasts an impressive 93 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

But there's another show that people are raving about that, like Schitt's Creek, isn't newly released but remains a topic of conversation on Netflix-dedicated social media pages like Netflix Bangers on Facebook.

And the series that series that people are still raving about 15 years after its release? Shameless.

    Check out the trailer here:

The Shameless people have been talking about is actually an American adaption of UK-version of the TV show, which first aired in January 2004.

I mean, the American version of The Office was a huge hit, so it made sense that another popular British sitcom bit adapted for US audiences once more.

Like The Office US, Shameless ended up creating some huge names in Hollywood — Jeremy Allen White specifically, who is now an Emmy Award-winning actor.

The show also stars Joan Cusack, Fargo actor William H. Macy, Steve Howey, Emmy Rossum, and Gotham's Cameron Monaghan.

Taking to Netflix Bangers yesterday (April 12), one inquisitive Netflix subscriber asked for people's reviews of Shameless.

    "Flipping fantastic," one person replied.

A second person gushed: "It gets hectic at times, but definitely worth watching."

"So fun! Absolutely brilliant," someone else raved, while someone else dubbed Shameless as 'the best show ever'.

"Think I've watched the whole series at least 3 times now," said another fan off the sitcom.

For those of you who are looking to watch it for the first time, you'll be pleased to know that there are a whopping 11 seasons sat waiting for you to watch on Netflix.

But, because Shameless isn't a Netflix-produced show, it will eventually leave the streaming platform.

Apparently Netflix typically obtain a license to stream non-Netflix shows for a five year period.

According to What's On Netflix, the show's set to leave Netflix US on October 11, 2026 (giving you lots of time to binge all the seasons).

The outlet also reported that the American version will leave Netflix UK in September 2025, and Australia's Netflix in March 2026.

"Netflix Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and most other European regions and Asian territories will see the series leave on July 16th, 2025," the site adds.
