Netflix subscribers have been left 'gutted' that a horror series that achieved a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is yet to receive a season four.
Rotten Tomatoes is always a good indication as to whether a new movie or series is worth a watch. You know the score, the higher the rating, the better the product generally is.
So for a film or series to obtain an 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, it is surely doing a lot of things right and worth the attention of viewers.

Well, after already impressing with two opening series, comedy/horror Santa Clarita Diet series three was adored by fans and critics alike to the point where it sits at a perfect Rotten Tomatoes rating some six years after its release.
The series premiered in 2017 with Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore star as Joel and Sheila Hammond in the gory horror.
Joel and Sheila are a real estate agent couple in Santa Clarita, California alongside their teenage daughter Abby (Liv Hewson).

What seemed like a perfectly normal family story quickly takes a dark turn as Sheila turns into a zombie and starts craving human flesh, leading to an investigation into the source of the virus to hopefully bring the apocalypse to an end.
Season three of Santa Clarita Diet ended on a cliffhanger, which left fans expecting more.
However, Netflix decided not to release a fourth season, much to the fans' disappointment.
"I wish they had continued this. I loved it! So funny," one person penned on the Facebook 'Netflix Bangers' page.

A second added: "I’m gutted it got axed!! Was great," while a third praised the show's humor by saying: "I loved its dry humor."
Last year, the show's creator, Victor Fresco, lifted the lid on how he found out another season of Santa Clarita Diet would not be coming.
Fresco discovered the show's fate from his assistant rather than Netflix themselves, with the former stating the sets from the previous series were being dismantled.
He told the Guardian: "That’s how I heard it was definitively not coming back. We had an inkling it might not come into a fourth year."

Fresco intentionally ended season three on a cliffhanger, believing it would make it harder for Netflix to pull the plug.
He said: "We didn’t want to make it easier for them to cancel us. We thought ‘Why are we doing their work for them?’”
The creator spoke further about Netflix axing the show, and why he feels it made no sense for the streaming giant to pull the plug.
"If you look closely at your deal, you’ll see that there’s a huge disincentive for them to order seasons four and five because they’re really making a big payout then," he added.
