A new month brings a whole new slate of titles to Netflix - as well as the removal of dozens more.

Thousands of films and TV shows make up the world's largest streaming service.

But if there are any you've been saving for a rainy day, then you'd better check that they're not being removed this May.

Content is regularly - and sometimes quietly - removed from Netflix due to licensing deals expiring.

Sometimes, you don't even realize a title is on the platform until you hear it's being removed.

According to What's On Netflix, here's a list of the titles leaving Netflix in the US this May.

    Whiplash

The 2014 psychological drama, starring Miles Teller, has been hailed as fans' 'favorite movie of all time'.

It follows ambitious drummer Andrew Neiman, whose sanity spirals as he's mentored by cut-throat jazz mentor Terence Fletcher (JK Simmons) at the fictional Shaffer Conservatory, in New York City.

Whiplash only joined Netflix 18 months ago, but will be leaving on May 1.

    Boiling Point

From Adolescence's Stephen Graham comes Boiling Point, a sizzling kitchen drama which also serves as a sequel to the 2021, one-shot feature film of the same name.

It follows head chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) as she faces the challenges of setting up a brand new restaurant alongside her old Boiling Point kitchen crew, including Graham as returning character Andy Jones.

The series has been rated '10/10' by fans, who claim it's 'a masterclass in TV drama'.

The four-episode mini-series will be removed on May 1.

    Schindler’s List

The movie is soon to be removed from Netflix (Universal Pictures)

Steven Spielberg's 1993 blockbuster tells the remarkable real-life story of German businessman, Oskar Schindler.

He saved more than a thousand Jewish people from the Holocaust in World War II by employing them in his factories in Poland, essentially creating a 'protected zone' for his workers.

Led by Liam Neeson, Schindler's List also stars Conclave's Ralph Fiennes, Shutter Island's Ben Kingsley and Matilda's Embeth Davidtz.

The movie is being removed from Netflix on May 1.
