Warning: This story contains major spoilers for Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black part one on Netflix.

Beauty in Black fans are fuming after spotting a major problem with the show's second instalment.

Created and produced by Tyler Perry, the first half of the 16-episode drama dropped on Netflix on October 25.

Divorce in Black's Taylor Polidore Williams and Acrimony's Crystle Stewart star as two young women on wildly different life trajectories.

Struggling Kimmie (Williams) turns to stripping to make ends meet, crossing paths with jealous strip club owner Body (Tamera Kissen).

Then there's Mallory (Stewart), who's living the high life as a rich and successful haircare entrepreneur.

But Kimmie and Mallory soon find themselves entangled in each other's business, with explosive consequences.

Juicy, right? You can watch the trailer below:

Beauty in Black has shot to the top of the Netflix TV charts, taking the number one spot worldwide, with Australian drama Territory and legal series The Lincoln Lawyer in second and third place respectively.

Fans were left floored by episode eight's staggering cliffhanger that saw Kimmie slam Body with a car after she took Kimmie's sister hostage.

While viewers say they were 'in a chokehold' following part one's finale, others have anticipated a major issue with part two - namely, how long they're going to have to wait for the rest of the story.

As it turns out, fans are going to be waiting some time for more Beauty in Black.

While an exact release date for part two is yet to be confirmed, there is a confirmed time window.

It's thought the next eight episodes won't drop until sometime in spring 2025.

Viewers could have to endure another five to eight months before finding out what happens next, assuming the release is between March and June 2025.

Fans are taking to X, formerly Twitter, to vent their frustration.

One declared: "Tyler Perry dead wrong for not having season 2 of Beauty in Black come out until spring 2025 wtf."

A second fumed: "I can’t lie I finished #BeautyInBlack and ended up liking it and now I’m waiting for part 2 to come out Spring 2025."

One person responded: "Damn. We got to wait that long?" as another complained: "Excuse me? We have to wait til WHEN?!" A third typed: "I’m annoyed cause now what ima do".

One threatened: "Damn Spring 2025?? I don’t know if I want to binge watch it anymore lol we gotta wait that long."

Beauty in Black is part of Perry’s creative partnership with the streaming giant, which will see him write, direct, and produce films and series under a multi-year first-look deal.

The first of the deal, legal thriller Mea Culpa, was released in February.

Beauty in Black part one is available to stream now on Netflix.
