Beauty in Black has shot to the top of the Netflix TV charts, taking the number one spot worldwide, with Australian drama Territory and legal series The Lincoln Lawyer in second and third place respectively.

Fans were left floored by episode eight's staggering cliffhanger that saw Kimmie slam Body with a car after she took Kimmie's sister hostage.

While viewers say they were 'in a chokehold' following part one's finale, others have anticipated a major issue with part two - namely, how long they're going to have to wait for the rest of the story.

As it turns out, fans are going to be waiting some time for more Beauty in Black.

While an exact release date for part two is yet to be confirmed, there is a confirmed time window.

Viewers could have to endure another five to eight months before finding out what happens next, assuming the release is between March and June 2025.

Fans are taking to X, formerly Twitter, to vent their frustration.

One declared: "Tyler Perry dead wrong for not having season 2 of Beauty in Black come out until spring 2025 wtf."

A second fumed: "I can’t lie I finished #BeautyInBlack and ended up liking it and now I’m waiting for part 2 to come out Spring 2025."

One person responded: "Damn. We got to wait that long?" as another complained: "Excuse me? We have to wait til WHEN?!" A third typed: "I’m annoyed cause now what ima do".
