People are flocking to social media in excitement over Netflix's announcement of the release dates for Murder Mystery 2 and Extraction 2.

If you've already binge-watched your way through Kaleidoscope and Wednesday, then fear not, because more Netflix bangers are heading your way.

What better way to get through the rest of a cold, bleak and rather frosty January than to know you'll be getting to see a whole lot more of the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, as well as Golshifteh Farahani and Chris Hemsworth on your screen?

The first Murder Mystery - directed by Kyle Newacheck - came out in 2019 and saw Sandler and Aniston star as a New York cop and his hairdresser wife - the pair unintentionally becoming embroiled in a baffling murder on a billionaire's yacht.

Extraction - released in 2020 - is a gripping action thriller which sees a mercenary sent to Bangladesh to rescue a drug lord's kidnapped son.

"After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held."

Murder Mystery 2 is set for release onto the streaming service on 31 March and you'll be able to watch Extraction 2 on 16 June.
