Netflix releases full blooper reel of Wednesday and it's brilliant

While Jenna Ortega is known for her morbid character, fans loved seeing her smile for once as Wednesday Addams.

Fans of the hit Netflix show Wednesday have been given a rare peek behind the camera thanks to a new blooper reel.

The Addams Family reboot has proven to be a fan favourite straight out the gate and fans on have seriously welcomed the additional content.

Jenna Ortega's character in the show is known for being dark, morbid, and devoid of any glee or happiness.

So it's nice to see the actor smiling and laughing when things didn't go exactly according to plan during filming.

One commenter simply said: "YESSS FINALLY."

Writing in all caps seemed to be the rage, with a second adding: "I PRAYED FOR THIS."

Another couldn't get enough, writing: "Release the 10 minute cut."

One person went for the direct route: "Now give us [the season two] announcement."

Talk about a bunch of keen little kidney beans.

Although many on Twitter were thrilled by the funny clips, others used it as a chance to lash out the streaming service.

Some people seemed to be of the view that over other popular programs that have fallen by the wayside while Netflix has been on the promotional trail for Wednesday, such as the fantasy show Warrior Nun.

One person went in hard: "You promote Wednesday like your life depends on it and have shows like Warrior Nun you barely lift a finger for. We'd love bloopers of that too. Better yet, we'd love the renewal more."

A second added: "What about Warrior Nun bloopers?"

A third was a little touchy about the whole thing: "I dare you to give me Warrior Nun bloopers."

Others asked for Bridgeton, The Sandman, and 1899 to get their own blooper reel release.

Netflix's logic in releasing more Wednesday footage is easy to follow, though.

The show is on track to be crowned the 'most watched English-language series of all time' on Netflix, it really is no surprise that the streaming service is keen to build even more hype for their smash-hit.

However, with the show coming from the brilliant mind of Tim Burton, who is known for his dark, German expressionism sort of style, we'd expect nothing less than success.

If you haven't seen it yet, get up, turn on your telly and put Netflix's Wednesday on.

It has a killer cast, with Jenna Ortega joined by Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams.

It's seriously good viewing, and it'll have you reaching for some black emo eyeliner in no time at all.
