Many films fall victim of being too CGI-centered in modern day movie making.

While it's supposed to enhance a film, it can actually work against them sometimes - one example being Henry Cavill's moustache-gate in Justice League.

At the time of doing reshoots for the DC fan favorite, Cavill was also shooting Mission: Impossible - Fallout, where his character boasted a moustache.

Cavill was unable to shave off his face fur because of contractual agreements and, rather than Paramount delaying shooting of Justice League for when he was able to shave it off, they chose to CGI Cavill's moustache off in the hopes no one would notice.

But fans noticed.

Like Justice League, many superhero movies are CGI heavy because of all the action involved; Marvel movies included.

From Mark Ruffalo transforming into Hulk, to Robert Downey Jr.'s impressive Iron Man armor, there's lots of that kind of stuff in the MCU.

But you might be surprised to know that it's not always used, and some scenes are genuinely the actor's performing the stunts.

There's one scene in question has been doing the rounds recently, and that's from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The clip that's been widely distributed on Reddit shows Captain America (Chris Evans) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) performing the epic highway fight scene.

The fast-paced moment sees the two characters exchanging punches and throwing each other around - as well as the Winter Soldier showing off some undeniably impressive knife skills.

While the scene is amazing in the movie, the fight before visual effects was equally as superb.

In the video, Evans and Stan performed the choreographed routine at a slightly slower pace than what you see in the film, but it still looks pretty good.

Marvel fans have been quick to applaud the pair for their performance.

"Gosh, it's always so impressive when people can do fight choreography like that," one person penned on Reddit.

Another added: "Wow. So this is the real speed. I always though that it was slower then they speeded up by sfx."

A third echoed: "That's pretty impressive. Makes me appreciate the acting and the physicality of a movie like this when the actor actual move like this."

Others noted Stan's knife flip in particular, hailing him as a 'superb actor'.

"Looks better than how it did in the movie," raved someone else.

A different person gushed: "No wonder the fight scenes looked so good in the finished product, damn."

In fact, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the best ranked Marvel movies on Rotten Tomatoes, boasting an admirable 90 percent on its Tomatometer.
