Warning: this article contains spoilers for the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally ended the mystery around whether Captain America is a virgin or not.

For those not familiar with Captain America, the legendary Marvel hero known as Steve Rogers was frozen for seventy years before he was revived in the 21st century.

Not much is know about the hero's love life other than he missed out on the chance to dance with his lover Peggy Carter before he was frozen.

Unsurprisingly, this has left Marvel fanatics speculating on whether or not Rogers lost his virginity. After all, being frozen for seven decades would hinder anyone's love life.

But now, Marvel has finally put an end to the question many fans have been asking as – in the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney Law – it was revealed exactly when Captain America lost his virginity.

The episodes sees Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), discussing Rogers' sex life with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).

In the scene we see Walters speculating that – due to his busy schedule as a superhero, and only having one girlfriend before he was frozen – it was more than likely that Rogers never had time for sex.

“Steve Rogers did so much for us, and he never got to experience sex. And did you see that ass? Like that ass did not deserve to die a virgin. It's like so sad,” Walters said.

Bruce Banner then goes onto reveal that Rogers is in fact not a virgin, ending the speculation for Walters and Marvel fans.

Banners said: “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour,” .

This prompts Walters to say: “Captain America f**ks," before the episode cuts off.

While the identity of the mystery girl was never revealed, fans will surely be glad to have finally had the question answered.

However, the reveal may be disappointing to fans who were expecting Peggy Carter to be Rogers' first but it isn't surprising that the tall, ripped superhero lost his virginity. No doubt he would have had many offers during the USO tour.

The speculation surrounding Rogers' virginity caused quite the stir on social media, and even prompted Chris Evans to share his reaction.

Taking to Twitter, Evans, who has played Captain America since 2011, tweeted three laughing face emojis, followed by the zipped lips emoji.

The tweet prompted a reply from Mark Ruffalo who revealed the secret as Bruce Banner.

Ruffalo wrote: "Sorry bro. It was under extreme duress."

She Hulk: Attorney of Law follows the life of Jennifer Walters, a single lawyer in her thirties who also happens to be a 6'7" green Hulk. The show also sees Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Bruce Banner or the Hulk.

The series is the latest MCU instalment centred around the heroine who 'hulks out' while juggling her busy law career.
