Hugh Jackman Continues Ryan Reynolds 'Feud' At The Adam Project’s Premiere

Hugh Jackman continues his faux feud with Ryan Reynolds amid The Adam Project premiere

Hugh Jackman has continued his 'feud' with Ryan Reynolds at the premiere of The Adam Project.

Jackman and Reynolds have been friends for years after first meeting on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but they've kept up a pretty entertaining 'feud' for some time.

Now, the premiere of Reynolds' new movie, The Adam Project, has become the backdrop for Jackman's latest jab at the star.

The Instagram post shows Jackman, Reynolds and director Shawn Levy together at the premiere — and The Greatest Showman actor wastes no time in making a joke at the expense of present company.

Jackman wrote, 'I wanted to take a photo with @jennifer.garner but got stuck with these two.'

To be fair, we would happily have taken his ticket, but Jackman went on to show the comment was all in good fun, adding, 'Anyway. Make sure to watch #theadamproject coming to @netflix March 11.'

This is just the latest in a series of pranks and jokes the pair have played on each other over the years.

In the past, Jackman has tricked Reynolds into wearing an awful Christmas jumper, with Jake Gyllenhaal even getting in on the joke.

The post was shared to Instagram, with Reynolds explaining, 'These f*cking assholes said it was a sweater party.'

But, the pranks aren't one-sided, with Reynolds even crashing Jackman's video reunion with the OG X-Men cast.

As Jackman nostalgically recounted the 20 years since the first X-Men film, Reynolds interrupted with a playful 'knock, knock' and proceeded to crash the meeting.

The feud is all in good spirits though, and the pair are often seen supporting each other's work, like at Reynolds' most recent premiere.

The Adam Project stars Reynolds alongside Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Jennifer Garner.

Levy, who also directed Reynolds in Free Guy, is turning his hand to sci-fi with this new film, which sees Reynolds play Adam, a time-traveler, who crashes into the past trying to save the future.

He then happens to meet his 12-year-old self and sets out to find his late father (Ruffalo) in the hopes of getting back to his own time.

If the trailer is anything to go by, sci-fi fans are sure to be thrilled as the movie looks like an action-packed affair with space crafts, gadgets and Reynolds just generally being hilarious.

The Adam Project will be available to stream on Netflix from March 11.
