Chloe Bailey has opened up about filming her first ever sex scene for a new thriller series, and how she was understandably scared to do it.

The 24-year-old singer and actress, also known by her stage name Chlöe, stars in the new Amazon Prime show Swarm.

Hailed from Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, Swarm tells the story of Dre (Dominique Fishback), a young woman whose obsession with a pop star (Nirine S Brown) takes a deadly turn.

Although said pop star is fictional, those who've watched the series already will know that the character is very similar to Beyoncé - even her fanbase is known as 'The Swarm', a play on words of the singer's 'Bey Hive'.

Alongside Dominique and Nirine, Chlöe portrays Dre's sister Marissa, while her on-screen boyfriend Khalid is played by Damson Idris.

The Grown-ish star spoke with Deadline ahead of the release of the show to open up about her fears of doing the sex scene, and how Idris made her feel comfortable on set.

"When I first read the script, I was like, 'Oh, this is insane, this is incredible,' and I cried, and then I realized, you gotta do that sex scene, girl," she said.

"And as open and liberal as I am about my body, I was very scared because I haven’t had that many partners.

"I’m not like that, like that sexual and open... Damson made it really comfortable, you know, there were limited people on set, it was a closed set. We were laughing in between.

Chlöe opened up about the sex scene while speaking with Deadline.

"We literally had a bouncy ball in between us and, you know, we were making a joke out of it, so it took all of the nervousness away from that.

"I have to give a lot of kudos to him as a man for making me, as a woman, feel comfortable literally being raw and naked."

The singer has received praise for the interview, with one writing: "Chlöe is such a breath of fresh air."

Another said, "Big up Chlöe for being a sport and role model for our around the table discussions, she encourages us to think and feel."

Alongside the aforementioned stars, Swarm sees a guest appearance from none other than Billie Eilish in her acting debut.

The singer takes on the character of Eva, a creepy cult leader, in episode four of the seven-part series.

Earlier this week, Eilish shared a little insight into her eerie performance with a clip in which she's chatting with Dre.

Their sinister exchange creates a tense and chilling atmosphere, one that we can't wait to experience more of now that the show has dropped.

Fans are absolutely loving what they've seen so far, with one writing: "Billie sounds like she could play a serial killer in the best way possible."

"Billie found a role that lets her whisper like her songs," said another, to which a third replied, "LMFAO though true, it works and I’m so excited for her debut."

Thankfully we don't have to wait, as all seven episodes dropped on Amazon Prime today (March 17).
