Angelina Jolie shares the 'best sex' she ever had was in a movie with Denzel Washington

It's not often that celebrities willingly go into detail about their sex lives, but Angelina Jolie offered fans a rare insight by revealing the 'best sex' she ever had was in a movie with Denzel Washington.

Jolie is currently only rumored to be in a relationship, with rapper Akala most recently in the spotlight as the star's potential love-interest, but Jolie has had multiple serious relationships previously.

The Maleficent star has been married three times, to Jonny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton and, of course, Brad Pitt - but it wasn't a husband that made it into Jolie's top spot when she spoke about her 'best sex'.

The actor made her revelation after starring in the 1999 movie The Bone Collector, which is based on Jeffery Deaver's 1997 novel of the same name.

Jolie stars as police officer, Amelia Donaghy, who is desperately trying to track down a serial killer who leaves a disturbing calling card in the form of a human bone at each crime scene.

When her character struggles to get to the bottom of the murders, she begins to look elsewhere for help and finds it in the form of quadriplegic forensics expert Lincoln Rhyme, who is played by Washington.

His character was left paralyzed from the neck down following a horrific accident, but that doesn't stop the pair from getting intimate as they work to solve the case.

Shortly after the release of The Bone Collector, Jolie opened up about her on-screen chemistry with Washington in an interview with Dark Horizons.

"What’s fascinating are the journeys these two characters undertake, and the deep relationship that evolves between them," she said.

Looking back at the way her character connected with Washington's, Jolie then revealed: "The best sex I ever had was in this movie.”

Move over, former boyfriends and/or husbands!

The scene Jolie referred to with her comment was one in which her character uses her senses and her mind to seduce Washington's character.

“It was great seducing someone with your mind, a huge turn-on," she said.

It's worth noting that more than two decades have passed since Jolie made this revelation, so it's entirely possible that she'd have a new answer for her 'best sex' experience by now - potentially even one of the two husbands she's had since making the movie.

But still, to make it to number one with just your mind? That's quite the achievement!
