Adam Sandler has defended Chris Rock's jokes about Will Smith, describing his recent Netflix special as 'one of the best experiences'.
Although the hype might have died down a bit since the comedian's stand-up Selective Outrage dropped on the streaming service, there's no denying it caused a lot of division in the aftermath.
Some people slammed Rock for going 'too far' with his jokes, through which he essentially got his own back on Smith after the famous Oscars #Slapgate.
But others felt it was a healthy dose of payback, with many still reeling at the fact that the Fresh Prince star physically attacked the comedian while he was hosting the 2022 Academy Awards.

And it looks like Sandler sits firmly in the latter camp.
As a prominent figure in the US comedy scene himself, the Happy Gilmore actor defended his pal and collaborator while speaking with People at the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor event on Sunday (19 March).
When asked what he thought of Rock's Netflix special, he replied: "It's amazing."
As for whether it went 'too far' with the jokes, Sandler said: "Nope, I never thought that in my life. I thought he was unbelievably relaxed, funny, thoughtful. Crushed it.
"He was real to himself and it was as exciting to watch as when the Super Bowl's on.
"I thought about it all weekend, 'All right, Rock's doing his thing tonight.' Sat, watched it in my kitchen, laughed my a** off.
"Immediately watched it right after, it was one of the best experiences. I thought it was amazing."
Well, you don't get much clearer than that - Selective Outrage gets the seal of approval from Adam Sandler.
And a majority of the commenters agree, with one writing: "My thoughts exactly."
"You are a good man Adam," said another. "That is how you represent friendship."
While a third added: "When you angrily smack someone in the face over a joke there is no limit to the ridicule that will be heaped on you for the rest of your life.
"What Will never knew was in doing so he becomes the joke."
There were some who took Smith's side, however, including this person who commented: "Do you think any man would sit there calmly while another man insults your wife?
"Everyone who supports Rock and condemns Will Smith does not seem to take that into consideration at all."
Whatever side of the fence you sit on, I think we can all agree that people won't stop talking about #Slapgate for a very long time.
