There are some things in life that just seem too good to be true, like your hand actually fitting inside a Pringles tube, or just the mere existence of dogs.

YouTuber, Roman Atwood, and his wife, Brittney, offered up another example this week as they shared a home video which featured both members of the couple.

That doesn't sound particularly hard to believe - until you find out that it was taken more than 10 years before they ever met.

Atwood, who has more than 15 million subscribers on YouTube, shared his shock with his followers when he posted a new video on Sunday (14 January), following the discovery of the home movie.

Describing the recording as 'maybe the most incredible video' of himself and Brittney ever, the couple explained that the video was recorded in 1996 when Brittney was five-years-old.

A video of Brittney and Atwood together might not have been particularly wild if they'd been childhood sweethearts, but that's not what was happening here.

In fact, the pair never encountered each other until way into the 00s.

Roman Atwood had no idea his future wife was at the festival.

Atwood explained: "Basically there's a video of Brittney and I in the same place, at the same time, on camera in 1996 at a festival."

Neither child knew who the other one was at the time; the camera just so happened to capture them both as they enjoyed their time at the festival.

"I don't know it yet but I'm about to see the man of my dreams," Brittney said.

In the clip, a five-year-old Brittney could be seen playing on an inflatable when a young Atwood suddenly walked by right in front of the camera, with absolutely no idea that he was walking past his future bride and mother of his children.

"It's so blurry and badly shot from '96 that you can't really make out any faces, which makes this video even more bizarre," Atwood said.

The YouTuber noted that was near to impossible for the pair to have the footage, and viewers were just as mindblown after Atwood shared the clip online.

"That is LITERALLY mind blowing!! Y'all were really meant for each other," one stunned viewer commented.

Another added: "The odds of this happening AND being captured on video is just insane."

After they officially met, more than a decade after the video was filmed, Atwood and Brittney went on to get married and welcome three children.
