Woman urged to act quickly after revealing eerie ‘doomsday’ bunker and trapdoor in basement

TikTokers are urging a woman to take action after she revealed a trapdoor and entire hidden bunker in a basement.

Millennial mom Carly caught the attention of millions of people with her tour of the creepy hidden room, which she revealed on 30 December in a post on TikTok.

The bunker is located in the basement of Carly's grandmother's home, but since her grandmother 'can't do stairs' it's been left for Carly and her brother to explore.

At first glance the large downstairs room looks pretty unexceptional, but Carly makes clear that not all is as it seems as the home used to belong to an 'end of day prepper'.

In her video, Carly reveals a false wall in a coat closet which can only be accessed by pushing on a fake pipe, and which opens up to rows of shelves previously used to store canned food.

In another section of the basement, a false panel opens to reveal a small area which Carly crawls through to reach the large bunker inside.

The entrance to the bunker was hidden behind a fake panel.

The door can be locked from the inside to prevent attacks from whatever enemy has taken over the outside world, while six wooden beds give those inside a place to sleep.

Carly shows off gas masks, candles and lightbulbs which have been left behind, while an abandoned cup lies in a sink next to a water pump.

In case access to the bunker through the basement is blocked, Carly also revealed a trap door with a 'slide' which opens from the outside, allowing immediate access into the safe room.

Viewers have been blown away by the revelation, but many are urging Carly to do more with it than show it off on TikTok.

The 'prepper' seemed to have planned for every situation.

Numerous viewers have called for Carly to restock the bunker to make it suitable for use, with one comment reading: "I would keep that bunker cleaned and maintain cause you honestly never know in the US."

Another viewer wrote: "Smart man. Probably should restock everything. You'll be one of the lucky ones if you do."

"I'd be getting that ready for comfort right about now if I had it at my disposal," wrote a third.

After sharing her video, Carly posted a follow-up to explain that her family had found the hidden rooms thanks to the blueprints of the house.

However, the daughter of the previous owner revealed that those blueprints were old, and that her dad had made some extra additions since then.

"We literally have not been able to find anything yet," Carly explained, but viewers remain hopeful that there will be more discoveries to come.
