A DoorDasher has gone viral after revealing how much money he made after a tough 12-hour shift.
Last week, Spencer Joyce posted a video to Instagram where he shared that he'd challenged himself to accept every DoorDash order he received over a 12-hour period.
Spencer, who is based near Virginia Beach, started his shift at 8am and wrapped up around 9:15pm, he explained in the now-viral clip.
Over the 12 hours, he was 'active' for just short of 10 hours after incorporating a handful of short breaks into his busy day. Over this time, he drove a whopping 221 miles.

"My earnings before taxes, wear-and-tear, gas, insurance etc. was $215," Spencer went on to reveal.
"My biggest tip was $14.25 from a Food Lion grocery order and my smallest tip was $3 from a Starbucks order," he continued.
"I'm tired as hell as my car needs a tune up badly now," Spencer concluded the clip.

A third person wrote: "I thought you were going to say between $400-$500."
Somebody else penned: "Gotta respect the hustle but door dashing isn’t to get rich. It’s to get by."
In a follow-up video, Spencer explained that he did the long shift as part of an experiment for a YouTube video. Spencer is one half of the YouTube reaction channel 'Embrace The Suck 21'.
Elsewhere, he wrote to his followers on Instagram: "I should qualify the context of this: I usually don't accept orders less than $6 or that give less than $1/mile and I'm multi-apping with Instacart as well."
Spencer has since chatted to UNILAD in the wake of his video blowing up online.

He told us: "I've done DoorDash on and off since 2019 just for extra cash, but I fell on hard times after just getting my Commercial Driver's License & having to wait a little bit to start work, which is when I had to move into my car to live and doing DoorDash and Instacart was my lifeline."
Spencer added: "The video I did was simply a challenge for a YouTube video and I did not expect it to blow up like it did! Luckily I've secured a job as a trucker that I begin on August 11th."
