A grandmother who makes some bucks through the ride-share app Lyft has gone viral for the outlandish rules all her passengers must follow.

While it may not be as mainstream as Uber, Lyft is a popular ride-sharing company in the US that essentially gives you everything Uber has to offer.

And those of you who may be a little lazy and use such taxi apps for an easy walk, you'll know the different types of drivers you can encounter.

Of course, those hoping to drive for such companies have to go through a variety of different checks, but that doesn't mean you won't come across some peculiar incidents.

One particular granny driver has gone viral on social media in recent hours, after a passenger took a photo of the list of rules that must be followed in her car.

The picture, which was posed to Reddit late on Thursday (21 December), has shocked much of the internet with how outlandish they are.

So, what are they?

Well, the grandmother began by stating how her grandchildren and even her grandchildren ride in the card so to be 'considerate of that'.

The anonymous grandmother also stated how she doe not carry any money or jewels for anyone who may have had the idea of robbing her.

She then joked how it would be 'good' if she was to carjacked or the vehicle was left 'wrecked' as she wants a new ride.

A parrot seemingly resides in the car too, as the next rules states: "Do not touch or cuss my parrot! I will put you out! I don't touch your kids and I don't teach your kids to cuss, don't teach mine!"

The driver then stated how the likes of smoking, vaping and yep, snorting, are not allowed as the vehicle is not your 'tap house'.

The rules have gone viral.

"No spraying perfume, doing your hair and makeup," the driver added on the note. Before saying the car is not a passengers bathroom.

More understandably, the drivers insists there is no 'sex or making out' in the car, adding it is not the passengers 'hooker/hotel room'.

The final rule on the piece of paper stated: "No eating or drinking in my car! I provide water for your convenience! This isn't your diner!"

All of these rules were typed out full in caps, really emphasising the point on how important they are.

We certainly can't see anyone flouting these rules anytime soon!
