Bryan Johnson has left people perplexed with a rather unusual (and very detailed) description of his reunion with his girlfriend.

Johnson is a biohacker best known for trying to reverse his biological age and for spending a fortune in the process ($2,000,000 a year, according to reports).

In a recent update, Johnson claimed that he will achieve immortality by 2039. He did admit, however, that he doesn't yet know how he will achieve this.

Johnson shares pretty much every aspect of his life online, including details about his romantic life. At the beginning of December, he announced that he had a new girlfriend, Kate Tolo.

"I’ve wanted this my entire life and impatiently waited 25 years for it to arrive. It’s better than anything I imagined," he gushed about Kate on Instagram.

Now, Johnson has shared some rather intimate details about being reunited with his new love after spending nearly 20 days apart from each other.

Part of an 850-word tweet shared by Johnson read: "It’s been 19 days and 20 hrs since I last felt Kate’s warm embrace. She landed 47 minutes ago. The 24 hours of travel no doubt has her rushing to shower.

"She needs to cleanse herself of a dirtied world incompatible with her sensibilities. The wash doubles as a ritual, preparatory for entrance into the symbolic world we’ve constructed."

He went on to say of the moment they were back in one another's presence: "I slip my hand under her shirt and brush the small of her back. Goosebumps spread like a wildfire across her body. Her hypothalamus stimulates the release of GnRH, which tells the pituitary gland to wake up her reproductive system.

"Our olfactory systems consume each other with delight, signaling immune system compatibility."

Should you wish you read the full monologue you can do so here — and brace yourself for what I can only describe as some kind of scientific twist of something from Bridgerton.

People have since reacted to Johnson's very detailed encounter with Kate and have certainly left people divided.

"This is actually the weirdest thing I’ve ever read," somebody said, adding: "Just incredibly odd."

"I need a minute," wrote another, as a third quipped: "This reads like 50 Shades of Grey Matter."

Others have suggested that Johnson try his hand at writing an erotic novel, as a Twitter user said: "Have you considered writing spicy novels for nerds?"

Another person dubbed his post as 'science erotica'.

I think that's enough of the internet for today, thank you.
