Twitch streamer mortified after catching older man filming her on beach

A Twitch streamer was furious after she appeared to catch a man filming her in her bathing suit while she was on the beach.

A streamer was left disgusted after spotting a man seemingly attempting to secretly film her.

Going to the beach, you would hope that you could spend some time relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet without being disturbed.

Well, unfortunately for one Twitch streamer, she had to deal with an older man who looked like he was trying to sneak in a few pictures or videos of her sunbathing.

During one of her streams, user Ibabyrainbow decided to go to the beach and set up her tripod and camera for her fans to view her as she relaxed right by the shore.

While lying down, however, an older man walks into view and appeared to be on his phone recording her. Watch it here.

When the streamer noticed, she quickly jumped to her feet and attempted to confront the man who tried to appear innocent and quickly walked out of frame.

She is heard swearing at the man as well, although his response and actions was not seen by viewers.

You can imagine his face would be red with embarrassment at being caught red-handed, and rightly so.

The brief interaction has also began doing the rounds on social media and has so far been viewed more than 8 million times since being posted on January 19 on X.

While you might assume many would straight away be on the side of the streamer, not exactly.

The conversation in the comments quickly devolved into arguments regarding public privacy expectations, with some defending the man.

“Understand she is on a public beach. This is creepy and degenerate behavior, but he doesn’t need consent to record in a public area for personal use unless it’s an area that has an expectation of privacy (which a beach does not have),” one user commented.

“Feel like we need to see a 5 seconds before this clip begins to know if he was actually creeping. Looks like he’s just panning across recording everyone,” another said.

“If you are in public, anyone can record you. It is their first amendment right. You are welcome to record him back... which she was doing," another commented.

"She can't be mad he recorded her while she was doing the same thing."

But one fired back in her defense: “This world is full of perverts unfortunately… people should learn what respect is."

What do you think? Is it creepy behavior that should be condemned? Or is the man innocent and likely filming the entire beach?
