A nude cruise passenger has answered the question that a lot of people want to know about.
Of course, there's many questions people have about nude cruises: from the rules of being onboard the ship to what it's like in general on the all-baring voyage.
There are often misconceptions about nude cruises however, one being that everyone's there for just one big romp. Addressing this, the organizer of one of the UK's only nude cruises debunked the theory that being naked is only for a time when someone wants sex.
Rachel Wick told The Sun: "It’s really sad that a large percentage of the population equate being naked only with sex — it’s not."

She went on to say of people ditching their clothes on the cruise: "It is the sense of freedom and being relaxed in your own body that draws people in. It’s a very friendly environment. If we go to a hotel, people generally don’t go out, they stay all day."

Echoing similar sentiments, earlier this year someone took to Reddit to share their review of the 2,000-person nude cruise they had just been on.
"When the topic of nude cruise comes up, you often have comments from people who don’t understand who and what nude people are all about and do on these cruises," they wrote. "As IRL, you have a range of people, some who are not even comfortable seeing themselves naked in the mirror to those who are comfortable in their own skin.

"A nude cruise brings the skin-comfortable crowd together. So much so that NCL Pearl was sold out six months in advance."
The Redditor then opened the floor to questions for curious people, and one user asked: "[Are there] lots of upside down pineapples?"
"Only a few," the cruiser replied.
If you're wondering what on earth an upside down pineapple has to do with anything, it's a symbol often used by the swinging community.

Intimacy coach and swinger Kiley George explained this to Cosmopolitan. She said: "Often seen on clothing, accessories, and even as decorative home items, an upside-down pineapple typically indicates that the person is a part of the swinging community or practices ethical non-monogamy.
"Some lifestylers have suggested that back before the internet, swingers would use the symbol to let others know they were part of the community."
So, to answer your question folks, some swingers seemingly go on nude cruises but not everyone's there for X-rated reasons.
