Fellow millennials have been well and truly humbled after a video of what seventh grade students think 30-year-olds would appreciate as a Christmas gift has gone viral on TikTok.

And the gift suggestions are equally as hilarious as they are devastatingly accurate.

If you're ready to be well and truly called out, you can watch the vid below:

There’s nothing wrong with wanting a new set of bowls or a TK Maxx gift card for Christmas, they’re useful purchases and we should not be shamed.

‘Gen Z’ fit into the generational bracket of people born between the years 1997 to 2012, whereas ‘millennials’ are born in between the years 1981 to 1996.

The middle school teacher from Palm Springs, who goes by @7thgradechronicles on the app, shared suggestions made by his Gen Z students of possible gift ideas for us thirty and overs.

The caption reads: “I asked my students: what would you buy someone in their 30’s for the holidays?’ as each answer from students is revealed with a post-it note.

An accurate suggestion from Gen Z.

The first few answers given for presents we’d love to wrap Christmas morning were ‘measuring cups’, ‘signs that say Bless This Home’ and a ‘Dyson vacuum.’

Brilliant.

Other thoughtful suggestions from the seventh graders were ‘expensive meats’, ‘Candy Crush premium’, ‘you get them a candle that smells like ‘home’ or ‘back In the day’' while another took it to the next level, writing ‘a divorce lawyer, remember to fight for the kids'.

Also giving an honorable mention to the kid who felt the urge to write ‘a heated blanket cause they’re muscles be hurtin’ for making us feel so seen.

The soul-crushing list has caused a stir as over 30s couldn’t help but comment their thoughts on both Reddit and Tiktok.

An incredulous millennial wrote: ‘'Bingo Cards' cracked me up haha. We’re not 70yr olds!”

“Some of those are pretty good gifts and a lot of them hurt my feelings because they’re accurate. I wasn't sure whether I should be offended or pleased by measuring cups,” another admitted.

Suggestion from Gen Z student.

Another thankful ‘oldie, said: “A heated blanket would be legit. My muscles do be hurting though. What a thoughtful young lad. I would take a majority of these and appreciate them.”

It got a little bit too real for one commenter who confessed: “I feel both seen and attacked.”

Well, its nice to know the younger generation look up to us as we go forth and live, laugh, love.
