Paris Hilton is working on her second album and can't wait to show fans her new music

She said it's been incredible getting back into the studio and making songs.

Paris Hilton is about to set the music industry on fire with her second album.

I know what you're thinking: a second album?

Yes, the reality TV star turned professional DJ released an album back in 2006 called Paris.

Despite what you might think, it actually did pretty well on the charts.

The pop album had some hints of hip hop, reggae, soul, pop rock and R&B and managed to get to number six on the Billboard 200 list.

It had the iconic track 'Stars Are Blind' as well as a song written by Rod Stewart and a few others called 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy'.

Well, it looks like Hilton is preparing to unleash some new tracks onto the world and she's super excited for her fans to hear the record.

During an interview on UK talkshow Lorraine, Hilton said she's been hard at work over the past few months.

"I've always loved music, I've played the violin and piano since I was a little girl," she said.

"I've always loved singing.

"I'm in the studio doing my second album so it's just been incredible."

She added: "I can do it all! I feel like you can be anything, you can be a mom, you can be a businesswoman, you can be an artist, you can do it all!"

Hilton touched on the public's perception that she's just some dumb blonde bimbo.

She certainly leant into that personality back in the 2000s when The Simple Life debuted.

Paris and her best pal Nicole Richie dazzled the world with their attempt at doing real-world things and hanging in less than glamorous homes.

While she certainly came across as lacking a few braincells, the now 42-year-old insists that was just an act.

She also credited herself with launching the 'famous for being famous' branch of being an A-lister.

"It really was [ground-breaking], we are the OGs and it was amazing to see so many people inspired by it as we created a new genre of celebrity," she told Lorraine.

"I've always been ahead of my time!

"Just like I say, I'm not a dumb blonde, I'm just very good at pretending to be one.”

Paris hasn't revealed when we can expect to see the new album drop on streaming services around the world.

So we'll have to wait with bated breath until we get that news because we know people will have a thing or two to say about it.
