Sofía Vergara says she's 'trying to have fun' after divorce from Joe Manganiello

Sofía Vergara has said she's 'trying to have fun' following her divorce from Joe Manganiello.
The star couple were married for seven years before announcing their split back in July.
And just two days later, Manganiello officially filed for divorce.
The pair of actors got engaged in 2014 after dating for six months.

But fans had their concerns about the couple before news of their separation came out, as the Modern Family actor travelled to Italy to celebrate her 51st birthday.
Vergara appeared to be without her True Blood star husband and without her wedding ring.
On 17 July, they confirmed their ‘difficult decision to divorce’ in a statement.
They said: “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Legal documents obtained by E! News revealed 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split, with the date of their separation given as 2 July, 2023.
Now, Vergara appears to have been keeping herself booked and busy as she gets through the breakup.
She’s been to two of this year’s biggest events - Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, obviously - and returned to the judging panel for America’s Got Talent.
Vergara told Entertainment Tonight: “I’ve been lucky! People have been inviting me out, you know, I've been trying to have fun. So I've been going everywhere they invite me.”
The star particularly enjoyed seeing the Queen Bey, adding ‘anyone can learn a thing or two’ from the ‘Single Ladies’ singer.
“She was spectacular! What a show! Her daughter, her songs, her outfits, her body, I mean everything,” she said.
Going through the summer single, Vergara also shared the other shows she’s been to recently, saying: “We saw Karol G, and before Karol G was Taylor Swift.
“I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever gone to so many concerts in my life.”
Vergara shared a load of clips and snaps from her time at the Renaissance Tour on social media and fans have been loving it for her, with one commenting: “It’s giving SIIIINGLEEEEE AND SLAYINGGGG.”
Another said: “Marriage was holding you down."
While a third wrote: “She’s in her divorcée era.”
Manganiello's filing for divorce also noted that he and Vergara, who has previously been named as the highest-paid actress in the world, had a prenuptial agreement in place.
He asked the court to confirm his and Vergara's separate property, including jewelry and earnings, and stated that each party planned to pay for their own attorney's fees.
