People divided after Dakota Johnson reveals stunning amount of sleep she gets every single day

The actress reveals how many hours she prefers to sleep and what her simple night time regime is

Sleep is important, we all know this.

It’s super important for both your mental and physical health, and affects everything down to how your skin looks (apparently).

But some nights, even when you’re knackered and you feel like you’ve had a day that’s lasted a thousand years, you’ll eventually get in bed and suddenly you have bags of energy and can’t drop off into that sweet, REM state.

So, count yourself lucky if you regularly get the recommended 8 hours a night, congrats to you and your luminous skin.

So when we found out that actress Dakota Johnson manages to somehow be as successful as she is AND sleep more than the majority of us? How's this possible?

Johnson is no stranger to going viral for her odd idiosyncrasies - for example, she was all over the news for having a bowl of limes on her table, and was clearly very gleeful about owning a bunch of the vibrant fruits that she happily told Architectural Digest: "I love limes. I love them so much.They're great, and I love them so much, and I like to present them like this in my house.”

Turns out she actually hates limes. She's allergic. She was just playing. She said it in zest.

ANYWAY, she’s made another revelation that’s got the internet talking, after she told Wall Street Journal that she usually sleeps 14 hours a day, and loves to sleep a minimum of half a day.

She said it takes a lot to get her out of bed, saying: ’I don’t have a 'regular' wake-up time.

"It depends on what’s happening in my life. If I’m not working, if I have a day off on a Monday, then I will sleep as long as I can. Sleep is my number one priority in life.”

When quizzed about how many hours of sleep she aims for each night, Dakota replied: “I’m not functional if I get less than 10. I can easily go 14 hours.”

While being a big fan of getting in the bath, as she finds it ‘grounding’, she does have a usual self care regime she tends to stick to which revolves around being in the tub.

“I will get in a bathtub at any moment, any time of the day. If in the middle of the day, I’m like, ‘Oh God, what is this world?’ I’ll get in the bathtub.”

So, in short, Dakota Johnson is the cleanest and well-rested human going. And we are definitely jealous.
