Pamela Anderson praised for wearing no makeup at Paris Fashion Week

Jamie Lee Curtis declared the 'beauty revolution has begun'.

Pamela Anderson has been praised for going all naturale at Paris Fashion Week.

The Baywatch star decided to ditch her usual smoky eye and bold pink lip for an understated look as she stunned at the annual fashion event.

During the Isabel Marant show on Thursday (28 September), the '90s icon went barefaced with a sleeveless yellow dress and a matching bag paired with nude heels.

While attending The Row’s Spring/Summer 2024 show, the actor also kept things natural while wearing an oversized pinstripe suit with a white button-up top.

Many praised the 56-year-old for going makeup-free, as one Twitter user wrote: “So glad to see someone embracing ageing gracefully.”

Another said: “Authenticity. This is the way forward. Excess surgery and filters are boring and make everyone - EVERYONE - look the same. Pamela looks naturally pretty here... and like herself.”

While a third shared: “How beautiful and POWERFUL for a woman to buck the trend, to break from what is expected. She looks fantastic!”

Even Jamie Lee Curtis was wowed by Anderson’s effort to shake up societal's beauty standards.

“THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! @pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures,” she wrote.

“And and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”

Anderson is mostly rocking a makeup-free look these days.

She explained to Elle in August it feels 'freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too'.

"I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing," she told the publication.

“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror,” she added.

"I go, ‘Wow, this is really...what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.

“I feel rooted for. I feel good. I’m in a good place.”

The Scary Movie 3 star also revealed the devastating reason she stopped wearing makeup.

She told the outlet that her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer in 2019, prompting the former Playboy cover girl to leave her iconic look behind.

“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup," she said.
