Pamela Anderson says she feels a sense of relief now that she's not wearing makeup anymore

The Baywatch star prefers the term 'life-ing' rather than 'ageing'.

Pamela Anderson believes the latest chapter of her life is allowing her to feel a sense of calm.

The legendary Baywatch star has attracted loads of headlines for attending Paris Fashion Week without any makeup.

While she was famous for a smokey eye, thin eyebrow and a painted lip, she's decided to ditch all the cosmetics.

The 56-year-old said it's a massive weight off her shoulders.

When asked by i-D about her beauty secrets, she said: "Don't do anything.

"Wake up, whatever is happening, is just happening.

"It's all about self-acceptance. This is the chapter of my life I'm trying to embrace now."

She added: "Sometimes it's challenging. And you just have to understand that you're good enough and that you're beautiful.

Pam says she prefers the term 'life-ing' rather than 'ageing' because she feels it's a better representation of how we get older.

"Chasing youth is just futile," she said during the interview. "You're never gonna get there. So it's like why not embrace what's going on?

"And since I've really just kind of walked out the door as me, I feel like a relief, just a weight off my shoulders. And, actually, I like it better.

"I'm dressing for me now, not for everybody else."

Pamela recently explained to Elle about the heartbreaking reason why she decided to ditch makeup.

"I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing," she told the publication.

“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror."

She told the outlet that her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer in 2019, prompting the former Playboy cover girl to leave her iconic look behind.

“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup," she said.

But she's been praised for going makeup-free.

Jamie Lee Curtis was singing the actor's praises after photos of her at Paris Fashion Week went viral.

The Halloween star said: “THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! @pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures.

“And and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”
