Police have made multiple arrests in connection with the death of Friends star Matthew Perry, according to a report from TMZ.
An investigation was opened after Perry was found dead in his hot tub on October 28 2023.
His cause of death was given as 'the acute effects of ketamine', with the subsequent investigation looking into how the drug entered his system.
TMZ has now reported that arrests have been made in connection with Perry's death.

The publication cites 'sources' which claim that a warrant was executed against a doctor and 'several dealers' who were allegedly involved in supplying Perry with ketamine.
This involved claims that the warrant revealed text messages in which Perry was discussed.
The Los Angeles Police Department had previously confirmed that it is working with the Drug Enforcement Agency and the US Postal Inspection Service on the star's death.
Speaking about Perry's cause of death, senior deputy medical examiner Raffi Djabourian added that other contributing factors in Perry's death included coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine, a drug used to treat opioid misuse.
He said: "Drowning contributes due to the likelihood of submersion into the pool as he lapsed into unconsciousness; coronary artery disease contributes due to exacerbation of ketamine induced myocardial effects on the heart."
Officers have previously seized the phone and laptop of a celebrity who was questioned in connection with Perry's death.
According to a report in The Guardian, Perry had been undergoing treatment for anxiety and depression which involved ketamine infusion therapy.
The actor had spoken publicly about this treatment in his 2022 memoir Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing.
But it was later found that Perry's last treatment prior to his death had been a week and a half earlier, more than enough time for his body to metabolise the drugs.
This meant that the drugs found in Perry's system were not connected to his treatment programme, and had been obtained elsewhere.
In a previous statement to the press on the circumstances surrounding Perry's death, the LAPD said: "Based on the medical examiner’s findings, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the United States Postal Inspection Service, has continued its investigation into the circumstances of Mr Perry’s death."
The police investigation into Perry's death continues.
