Canadian model Linda Evangelista has explained why she doesn't date, and it might be the most relatable reason ever.
Evangelista, 58, has been single for more than a decade after her previous serious relationships came to an end.
The model was married to Gérald Marie, the former head of Elite Model Management’s Paris office, from 1987 to 1993, before going on to date French billionaire François-Henri Pinault from 2005 to 2006.

Evangelista is a mom to a 17-year-old son, Augustin, who she shares with Pinault, but as she approaches her sixties she's explained that she's not interested in growing her family any further with the addition of a new romantic partner.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Evangelista said that she hasn't dated since 'before the CoolSculpting'; a procedure which can 'treat visible fat bulges' on the body.
She received the treatment from August 2015 to February 2016, but later claimed she'd been 'brutally disfigured' after undergoing it. Evangelista later filed a lawsuit against CoolSculpting, which ended in a settlement.

Now, she's claimed that she '[doesn't] look in the mirror', saying: "My son will say to me sometimes, ‘You might want to know that you have a pimple on your chin.’ And I’m like, what? But life is better without mirrors."
Seven years on from her procedure, Evangelista explained she's simply 'not interested' in dating, and drew attention to one particular ick that's put her off.
"I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore,” she said. “I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”
Honestly, fair enough. Who needs someone breathing loudly into your face when you're trying to get a good night's rest?

Evangelista also shared further insight into her first marriage in the interview, pointing out she was just 22 when she married Marie, who was 37 at the time.
“I was clueless. Absolutely clueless…there had to be something endearing to fall for,” Evangelista said about the romance.
Evangelista has also since faced issues with Pinault, who she reportedly sued for child support in 2011.

Pinault is now married to actor Salma Hayek, and Evangelista said the relationship with her ex-boyfriend has since 'worked out'.
The model has been to therapy to help her work through some of her mental health issues, explaining that she's 'not hard on [herself] any longer'.
"How people feel about me still bothers me a little bit, but it used to bother me a lot," she explained.
Evangelista, who has survived cancer twice in her life, has now come to learn 'how many people care' about her.
