Kate Winslet has opened up about a wild story from her SNL hosting duties back in 2004, which involved no other than Eminem.
Winslet recently appeared on the Graham Norton Show and had one hell of a story to tell that seemingly came out of left field.
Winslet recalled a nerve-wracking experience she had ahead of hosting Saturday Night Live over 20 years ago with rapper Eminem.
Due to her manic schedule at the time, she wasn’t around for SNL rehearsals, most notably the opening monologue she had to learn.

After being uncertain of what she was going to be doing only a day before the show, she finally got back to having a dialogue with the showrunners who asked her if she could sing, if she could dance and if she could tap dance...
On Norton’s show, Winslet joked she then got wary of what she had signed up for and what they would have her do.
She explained: "When I was on, it was the week after Ashlee Simpson was done for lip-syncing. I'm then on with Eminem.
“They gave me 24 hours to learn [Fred Astaire’s song 'Pick Yourself Up'].
“I am tap dancing and singing fully live the week after the whole Ashlee Simpson thing.”
But that isn’t the weirdest part of the story... Winslet went on to explain that Eminem had one brazen request of the actress that she simply had to decline.

She said: “Also I have to say something else, and this is a story I have never ever told. Eminem asked me to shave his bottom.
“He said ‘would you shave my but?’ and I said I am sorry, I don’t do personal grooming, like what.
“I’m not going to go with a [razor] and get your crack love, honestly. I have never told that story before in my life in public, there you go.”
There were confused looks and laughter from host Norton as well as the other celebs on the couch, which included British comedian Alan Carr, SNL star and writer Seth Meyers, and former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern.
Despite the tongue-in-cheek attitude from Winslet, people on social media felt that was definitely an odd alleged request from the rapper.
One user wrote: “Holy moly, that’s a story.”
