Justin Bieber reportedly had a surprising request for Hailey Bieber before the birth of their son.
Over the weekend, the 'Baby' singer announced the safe arrival of his son.
"WELCOME HOME, JACK BLUES BIEBER," he captioned the photo, showing off his son’s name with a music twist.
Many had believed the name to be a nod to Justin's dad Jeremy, with one person tweeting: "Jack Blues Bieber Jack is from Justin's dad [...] And Blues is because he is a boy, I guess, BIEBER."

While a second echoed: "BABY BIEBER IS HERE, AND IT’S A BOY!! I’m guessing he was named after his grandfather, since Jeremy’s middle name is Jack. I’M SOOOOOOO HAPPY!! They’re going to be the BEST parents!!"
And while that may be the case, People reported that the couple’s son also continued a Bieber family tradition of using ‘JB’ initials.
The singer's half-siblings Jazmyn and Jaxon also follow suit.
As the couple welcome their first child together, fans have been speaking about Hailey's latest manicure.
Who was behind the decision you ask? Well, it was surprisingly Justin.
Manicurist Zola Ganzorigt described the design to Vogue as a ‘more muted nudish white micro French on almond-shaped nails’ - quite the departure from her traditional, funky look.
“Justin has been choosing Hailey’s nail design lately and it was his request,” Ganzorigt told the outlet.
Hailey only announced her pregnancy to the world in May, surprising many of her fans in the process.
Speaking to ABC News in July, she said: "I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn't have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which is when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.
"I probably could have hid it until the end, but I didn't enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn't feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life."
Previously, Hailey has spoken about wanting to raise a family out of the spotlight, though she accepted the attention is ‘probably totally unavoidable’.
“That was before I was married,” the model told GQ. “Didn’t know who I was going to be married to at the time, I’m sure.
“Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18.
“It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet.
"And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”
