Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke reveals heartbreaking final conversation she had with dad before his death

Brooke previously revealed why she was removed from her father's will

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke Oleksy has revealed the heartbreaking final conversation she had with her dad before he passed away.

On July 24, the WWE wrestling legend Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, died from a heart attack at the age of 71 at his home in Florida.

He was laid to rest in a private funeral on August 5 which saw many of his nearest and dearest attend to pay their respects, including his 35-year-old son, Nick, ex-wife, Linda Hogan, and widow, Sky Daily.

However, his 37-year-old daughter Brooke was notably absent from the procession and has been subject to some criticism from fans amid speculation she had become 'estranged' from her father before he died.

While Brooke has been candid that there had been some distance between the father-daughter duo in Hogan's final years, she has insisted it never got that bad between the pair.

The mom-of-two was also removed from her dad's will, which she claims was her choice out of a family feud over his fortune.

To this end, Brooke has also recently threatened to pursue legal action against whoever she claims is 'spew[ing] lies' about her in the press.

Now, amidst the circling rumors of her fraught relationship with her father, the TV star has revealed the heartbreaking last conversation with Hogan.

Speaking to TMZ, she explained that the 'estrangement' became a 'boundary,' adding: "So I didn't like certain people he was around. It wasn't Sky [Daily], it was a number of people that I did not trust, that I had seen behavior in, and I said, 'Dad, flashing yellow signs.' Like, 'Hey, this is messed up. Are you going to do anything about it?'"

She then said in one of their last conversations that he 'gave the sentiment of like, "Well, I guess you have to live your life and I have to live mine"'.

"That was kind of how it was left," Brooke added.

Elsewhere in the interview, she recalled an incident where a contractor had allegedly witnessed an interaction between them.

"The contractor texted me - and said, 'Are you OK, kid? That hurt me watching what I saw.' My dad had become a little bit callous in his old age, and that’s OK," she explained.

Brooke then claimed that Hogan said some 'hurtful things'.

However, the star said she didn't attend her father's funeral because he 'hated the morbidity of funerals' and instead paid homage to him with a trip to the beach with her husband and twins.

"Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul," Brooke wrote on Instagram earlier this week. "We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved.

"We love you and honor the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you.

"I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy."
