What Pedro Pascal said to Kieran Culkin in censored speech at the Emmys

Pascal's speech had to be censored during the event

Ever since Pedro Pascal stepped up on stage at this year's Emmy Awards, viewers have been desperate to know what he really said about fellow actor Kieran Culkin.

This year's Emmys were full of memorable moments, from Christina Applegate's emotional standing ovation to the mysterious appearance of a goblin on the red carpet.

One moment that left viewers at home scratching their heads came while Pascal was presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Part of the audio was bleeped out once The Last of Us star started talking about his shoulder injury, leaving people desperate to know what he actually said.

You can watch the uncensored speech below:

The actor has been wearing his arm in a sling recently after suffering an injury, and while on stage he offered up a backstory as to how it happened.

"A lot of people have been asking about my arm,” he began, before clarifying that the injury is actually located in his shoulder.

Pascal then called out Culkin, but with the audio bleeped, many fans were left wondering what he said - especially since Culkin looked far from impressed.

One person wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "I desperately need someone to post what Pedro Pascal said about his shoulder/Kieran Culkin, since Fox decided to bleep out the whole damn thing."

While another said: "What did Pedro Pascal say? And why'd they bleep that out?"

"I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat the s**t out of me,” the Narcos actor joked.

Cameras then shot to Culkin, who maintained a pretty impressive death stare for a little while before cracking a smile.

At this point it was clear that Culkin was in on the joke, but the pair have been joking about a feud ever since the Golden Globes earlier this month.

The actors went head-to-head in the category of Best Male Actor in a Television Drama Series, with Culkin taking the gong.

And he couldn't resist a quick gloat, telling the audience: “I was nominated for a Golden Globe like 20 years ago, and when that moment passed, I still remember thinking, 'I’m never going to be back in this room again'.

"But thanks to Succession I’ve been in here a couple times... Suck it, Pedro! Sorry. Mine!”

FYI, Pascal's injury was in no way related to Culkin, with the actor previously explaining he'd had a fall.

"Be careful... it can happen to anybody," he said.

Culkin didn't look impressed.

At the Emmys, both Culkin and Pascal were nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Succession and The Last of Us respectively.

Culkin took home the award, and in an emotional speech, thanked his wife Jazz for all of her support and even revealed in that moment that he wanted more children.

“And of course my beautiful wife, Jazz,” Culkin said.

“Thank you for sharing your life with me and giving me two amazing kids, Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf. I love you so many and so much. And Jazz, I want more.”
