Angelica Ross says Emma Roberts has apologised to her after being accused of making transphobic comments.

Earlier this week, Ross, who identifies as a trans woman, spoke about her alleged experiences on the set of AHS.

The Pose actor appeared in two seasons of the horror anthology series, in 2019 and 2021.

Initially, Ross hinted at her strained relationship with her co-star on X and told fans that she would share ‘receipts’ about her claims.

Then on Sept 19, Ross took part in an Instagram Live during which she claimed that Roberts had been transphobic towards her.

Roberts allegedly made transphobic comments on the set of AHS.

"I’m standing in front of Emma, talking to her like this, and she’s in front of me, her back against the mirror. She goes, 'John, Angelica’s being mean',” she told fans.

It was then that AHS director John J Grey asked them to start filming again, saying: “Okay, ladies, you know, that’s enough. Let’s get back to work.”

To which, Ross says Roberts responded: “Don’t you mean lady?”

Whilst the Wild Child actor hasn’t publicly commented on the alleged incident, Ross claims that Roberts has apologised to her privately.

Ross says her former co-star has apologised.

In a tweet on X, the 42-year-old stated that Roberts had reached out to her.

The post read: “Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behaviour was not that of an ally,” she shared on Wednesday. “I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform.”

Her accusations come as new season, called AHS: Delicate, is about to drop.

Roberts, who is a recurring cast mate, will play Anna Alcott – an A-Lister desperate to have a child no matter the cost.

Based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition, the series will see the character become convinced demonic forces are trying to stop her pregnancy.

In addition to the returning cast, Kim Kardashian is also sharpening her acting chops as she stars in the last series alongside supermodel, Cara Delevingne.

The long-awaited AHS spin-off will air this week (Sept 20), with a Halloween special also dropping in late October.
