Benny Blanco shows his foot to prove a point as he responds to backlash over 'disgusting' act

Benny Blanco has responded to a bizarre controversy surrounding his personal hygiene after fans were shocked to spot a dirty detail in a recent video.
The producer and songwriter has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with his friend Lil Dicky earlier this week to promote their new podcast, titled Friends Keep Secrets, which they launched on 24 February together with Lil Dicky's wife, Kristin Batalucco.
During a recording for their show, viewers noticed a 'very dirty' detail, which Kimmel didn't fail to address in his late night chat with the two musicians.
Welcoming Blanco and Lil Dicky, whose real name is Dave Burd, Kimmel referenced the online backlash, prompting Blanco to show off his foot to prove his point.

It all started during the recording of the podcast, with fans captivated by Blanco's dirty feet as he sat on the couch.
"Good podcast, wash your feet benny and wash the floors," one fan commented on YouTube, while someone else noted: "THEM DIRTY A** FEET ", adding several crying laughing face emojis.
Of course, Kimmel had to bring up the topic at the end of his interview with the duo.
"Dave and Benny are here, and I neglected something important because there is something that turned up as people were watching your multimedia experience," the host said. "People seem to be fascinated with the idea that Benny's feet are very dirty."
"I noticed that too, Jimmy," said Lil Dicky, prompting Blanco to defend himself and blaming it on 'the facility', as in Dave's home.
"First of all, it's the facility's fault," he declared. "It's not mine."
"I have great feet," Blanco added, proceeding to take off a sock to show off his clean foot.
"Someone zoom in on my foot," he asked.
"Look at that clean foot. Look at that! Are you kidding me?" Blanco continued, to which Kimmel replied: "You should get an OnlyFans for that thing, I mean... It's beautiful."
Lil Dicky chimed in, saying: "It was the first day we filmed anything, so crew was coming in and out," then adding that the floor 'probably was a little bit' dirty.
Kimmel then said to Blanco, "So, you're saying that Dave's floors are not clean."
Both podcast hosts agreed that was the reason, though Lil Dicky hurriedly added the floors weren't clean 'on that day'.
"On a few of the days it's been dirty," Blanco pointed out as Kimmel joked he didn't mean to 'drive a wedge' between the two pals.
"You know how floors get," he added.
