Leonardo DiCaprio 'insider' reveals why the actor doesn't date women over 25

The Oscar-winner and Camila Morrone have recently broken up just a few months after she turned a quarter of a century.

A person allegedly close to Leonardo DiCaprio believes they know why the Oscar-winning actor doesn't date women over 25.

The Revenant star and Camila Morrone recently broke up after five years of dating.

She had only turned 25 a few months ago and their split has continued a trend where DiCaprio only gets into relationships with women in their late teens or early 20s.

An insider has told the New York Post why that trend seems to have stuck for decades.

“By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more — they’re looking to get married and settle down," they said.

Leonardo DiCaprio told Butler Luhrmann would 'keep him off balance'.

"That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.

“The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.

“He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”

Savage. Look, he could always find himself a partner who doesn't want kids.

That would actually be interesting to see if that's the element that breaks the quarter of a century curse.

Keep in mind this is just an 'insider' talking about Leo's love life; it's hard to speculate exactly what caused him and Morrone to go to Splitsville.

While it might have been a shock to some that the 47-year-old and 25-year-old have broken up, many had been predicting it for months.

Back in June, when Morrone turned 25, pretty much everyone was making the same joke that her days as DiCaprio's girlfriend were numbered.

DiCaprio ditching his girlfriends once they turn 25 has become so regular that people have actually gone and crunched the numbers behind his dating habits.

One of the charts they made tracked the ages of his partners and found that not one of them had stayed with the Hollywood star beyond the age of 25, not once throughout his 47 years on this planet.

The chart also mentioned that when Leo turned 25 back in 1999 his now-ex Camila would only have been two years old at the time.

Morrone is now the fourth of DiCaprio's eight confirmed partners he's split up with once she turned 25, and the 23 year age gap between them is the largest of his life.
