Kylie Jenner accused of mocking Astroworld victims by throwing a 'Stormiworld' birthday party

Kylie Jenner is once again in hot water with her fans

The Kardashians fans are fuming at Kylie Jenner after she, once again, threw an Astroworld-themed birthday party for her eldest daughter Stormi.

Stormi's first birthday came just six months after the release of her dad Travis Scott's hit album, and so her parents decided to go all-in on the theme for her first birthday party.

The 'Stormiworld' party was a hit, complete with a huge inflatable Stormi head, inspired by the golden inflatable Travis Scott head on the album cover.

'Stormiworld' was such a success that Kylie recreated it for her daughter's second and third birthdays, but held off in 2021 when tragedy struck at Travis' Astroworld festival.

Crowd surges at the festival resulted in ten people losing their lives, including nine-year-old Ezra Blount.

Officials later confirmed that those who were killed died from compression asphyxia, and the deaths were eventually ruled as accidental.

Travis faced accusations of 'inciting the crowd' at the deadly concert, and reportedly kept performing for 37 minutes after it had been declared a 'mass casualty' event.

The tragic event shook the music industry and highlighted serious issues around security and crowd control for major entertainment events.

The rapper was under criminal investigation after the event, though he was never charged.

Travis did offer to pay for the funeral costs of those who lost their lives, though a number of families refused the offer.

So, when Stormi's fourth birthday rolled around in 2022, there was no 'Stormiworld'.

Instead, Stormi had a joint party with her cousin Chicago (Kim Kardashian's youngest daughter), in Kylie's backyard.

But this year, 'Stormiworld' made an unexpected return in the Jenner household for Stormi's fifth birthday.

Although the name 'Stormiworld' was never mentioned in the celebrations, and Kylie went for an 'It Takes Two' theme for Stormi and baby brother Aire's joint birthday party, the giant inflatable Stormi head, inspired by her dad's Astroworld head, made a comeback.

When fans spotted the now-controversial decoration choice, they were furious and called out Kylie for the 'disrespectful' and 'atrocious' move.

Discussing the birthday party on Reddit, one heartbroken fan complained: "I can’t believe she’s going this route. What a way to ruin a kids birthday party by theming it after that awful event."

Another commented: "Using images from a deadly concert to celebrate your children's birthdays is just... I have no words."

And a third wrote: "I can't believe she f***ing did this again after what happened. I mean I can but it's just so gross."

While one fan even pointed out: "They are mocking the victims at this point.”
